Meet Maja

Hi, I'm Maja — the founder, designer, and maker behind MK Lunèra Crochella.

Originally from Croatia, my journey has been anything but ordinary.

Over eight years ago, I left home to explore the world while working aboard cruise ships. Traveling across continents, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from every corner of the globe shaped who I am today. Those years taught me the value of creativity, craftsmanship, and the beauty found in life's unique journeys.

Eventually, my travels led me to Ireland, where I decided to put down roots and build a new chapter of my life.

In 2024, I discovered crochet.

What began as simple curiosity quickly became a passion. With no formal training, I taught myself one stitch at a time, spending countless hours learning, practicing, and refining my skills. I fell in love with the process of transforming yarn into something beautiful, useful, and made to last.

That passion soon grew into MK Lunèra Crochella — a brand built on creativity, patience, and the belief that handmade pieces carry a special kind of magic.

Today, every bag, scarf, poncho, and accessory is carefully handmade by me in Ireland. Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with attention to detail and a genuine love for the craft.

In a world of mass production, I believe handmade items tell a different story. They carry the time, dedication, and heart of the person who made them, making every piece truly unique.
